November, 2024 - I am grateful once again for Stag & Lion, as they’re trusting me to help with costumes and makeup for an all-male/male-presenting The Taming of the Shrew.

September-October, 2024 - Upcoming!: an all-female/female-presenting The Two Gentlemen of Verona at Stag & Lion. Picking up an Italian accent for Sir Eglamour! https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-two-gentlemen-of-verona-tickets-1036984306977

September, 2024 - I was cast in my first new musical! I have had the privilege of originating roles before, but never in a musical. Finding Aaron was a really special experience for me in that I had no previous performers of this role to subconsciously mimic in some way or another. I HAD to be me. It was freeing.

Summer of 2024 - This was a summer of so much writing. It took a lot (years) of stewing in concepts and flashes of ideas and half-finished moments and imposter syndrome to get to this point. I finished the first draft of my first full-length play, a short film, and a handful of songs that I hope to bring into the studio with a friend of mine this fall. More info on all of that to come!

July, 2024 - After only about a month at T. Schreiber, Peter Jensen asked if I would assistant direct one of his plays in the Schreiber Shorts: Wake Up! Festival. Between this, reading for the auditions, and helping on the producing end in the office, I learned so much in such a short span of time. I feel so grateful to have a “survival job” that threw me into this creative project, and I’m looking forward to what’s to come. Putting up a show (…of my own?!?) now doesn’t seem so shrouded in mystery and therefore out of reach. It’s funny how community can make you feel more equipped to stand independently.

June, 2024 - I joined the T. Schreiber Studio team as an Office Administrator! Useless English degree, you say?

Spring of 2024 - Pygmalion at Stag & Lion reinvigorated my love for costuming, especially period pieces. It was also an eye-opening experience for the number of audience members shocked that it did not end quite like My Fair Lady.

Winter of 2023-2024 - King Lear with Frog & Peach! Staged at Theatre at St. Clements, this was definitely the largest house I’ve played to, which was more exciting than scary. And although I’ve stepped in at the last minute, on many, many occasions…this was my first time officially understudying a role.

Winter of 2023 - I had the absolute pleasure of spending my holiday season with Stag & Lion Theatre Company playing a lost boy in Peter Pan. This was truly so joyful. Sure, there are morals to that story, but we were simply playing make-believe. I’m not sure anything touches me deeper than a group of people getting together and putting in time and work just to tell others a story—puppets, fairy lanterns, wooden swords, blue bedsheet oceans, our best animal calls and battle cries. Sometimes theatre for theatre’s sake is something beyond entertainment, and we were all certainly steeped in that feeling during this production.

To catch you up…

Spring of 2023 - I stage managed Smoking Mirrors Theatre Company’s inaugural production, Shakespeare’s Prisons. My first time calling a show and it went smoothly!

Spring of 2023 - I stage managed the world premiere of College Fun with Frog & Peach.

September-October, 2022 - I assistant stage managed As You Like It with Frog & Peach Theatre Company. I am so grateful for the relationships that have come from this opportunity.

Winter and spring of 2022 - I interned at the Broadway Green Alliance! It was so encouraging to be reminded that sustainable theatre is possible.

October, 2021-August, 2022 - I interned and was a Program Assistant at New Perspectives Theatre Company. This involved a ton of writing for the On Her Shoulders Database, as well as some Production Coordinating (Endgame Festival), some acting…
